Come stop by! The public is invited to enjoy local art and a restful atmosphere at the Loewen Green Art Scene, 306 Reimer Ave.

FREE Art lessons - Scroll down to view our July and August calendars. "Painting on the Patio" classes take place Tuesdays from 1-3pm on the back patio.
Acrylics painting classes - Please bring paints, brushes and a canvas
Mosaic classes - Please bring shells, small stones/pebbles, beads, glass, tile and other small items
Drawing classes - Please bring sketch book (or paper and something hard for underneath), pencils, eraser and pencil sharpener

Mentoring Opportunities - Weekly with our Resident Artist. An opportunity to grow and learn for those who love to create!
Meet our Resident Artist! Cheryl Nickel lives on site, at the Loewen Green Art Scene. She is an accomplished painter, comic strip illustrator adn graphic designer, just to name a few. Cheryl is married with two children.

Watch artists work and browse our gallery of paintings and photography by members of the local community. Some artists will be working right on site!

Enjoy live music by local musicians.

Saturdays 1-4pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month

Looking for... Volunteers - We are looking for people to greet the public. This is a great opportunity to become involved with arts and culture in Steinbach.


Looking for... Visual Artists - Artists are welcome to come paint and sketch inside this beautiful heritage home - FREE studio space - and outside as well. We would also love to display your artwork. Our exhibit changes every month, and we ask that you bring 1-2 pieces of your artwork, as space is limited.
